Halloween

Kept it pretty simple this Halloween.
Ridge was big shark and Fulton was shark bait.
We strolled our neighborhood with Winnie the Pooh.
Ran into Captain America and Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
Oh yes, and Spiderman.
Awesome odds.
We had a great time, and Fulton enjoyed a few suckers, and so did his shark costume.
We still have candy, anyone want some???

Started the night out strong with a nice melt down. He saw the suckers I had for our trick or treaters.
Ridge and Sawyer's faces sum it up.

And more.

Now we are ok.

"This!"

Excited about the candy!

Still wondering how that wrapper comes off.

Precious sharks.

Just roaming the neighborhood. Da dum. Da dum.
Da dum Da Dum Da Dum!!!!

Finally.

There's Jake!

Captain America is all about it!

Could only contain him so long.

And, Spiderman wears flip flops. Who knew.

On the attack.

Sweetness. And, sugar overload.
Love you my little sharkies.
Momma

Oh yea, and Ridge was also Woody at school that day.
:)

little punkins with their pumpkins

{I'm always going to be a month late on posts. Christmas posts may turn up around June or July which is really about the time that the Wise Men actually arrived anyway.... }
Ok, back on topic. Pumpkins.
Our first Pumpkin Carving Night.
I don't think Ridge has ever carved a pumpkin.
(Well, he didn't really carve the pumpkin. But, you know, supervised.)
Well, we had a great time. Dada worked hard while everyone watched and cheered him on especially with the pumpkin seeds and goop! Ha!
Just kidding, momma did carve Fulton's in 3 seconds though.
We had a lot of fun and you know what a mess it is. Nice and slimy.
I thought i had read once you've cleaned it out, to rinse it in vinegar to help it last longer.
Nope. Not true.
These pumpkins shriveled up in 2 days.
But, I did read afterthefact, that ole Martha Stewart recommends coating the pumpkin in Vaseline after.
Hmm.. sort of a mess sitting on your front porch with bugs and leaves stuck to it greeting your guests.
Anyway, I might try that next year.
Have any of you found any good ideas to help them last longer?

Here's a few pictures from our fun night playing with knives.
{Disregard our super messy house and my half naked children}

Ridge helping Dada see a little better with his pumpkin flashlight.

Fulton's finished pumpkin

Ridge's pumpkin with his hands traced

Fulton's pumpkin candle was weak.

And, Ridge, son, you're still learning not to keep your hands "down there"
Daily struggle.

Happy Halloween from the Wiggins!

Let the games begin!

And, so, it begins. The world of sports. Sports mom. 2 boys, gonna be a lot of it!

Not really sure what he's doing here. Looks like I'm not listening to you Mama.

Don't get me wrong. I LOVE sports. LOVE them. A huge part of my childhood. Why, in fact, I was the only girl on a 5-6 year old boys baseball team. For many years.( Softball was not offered until a later age if you're making a funny face right now.){Remember, I grew up in no red light Berry, AL.} Playing softball for like, an eternity, cheering 7-12, and basketball 7-12, I've been around plenty of sporting myself. And, for those that know me, I'm pretty competitive too. Even though all of my high school teams were the pits. We still had fun. And, that's what it's all about. But, the physical aspect is lacking now. Severely.

Ridge ready to attack. (He is a pretty competitive little guy)

Harris' loud roar. Go T-rex's! (A fitting name for 3 year old boys)

All this mumbojumbo to say, I just didn't think we would embark this adventure at 3.

Three.

T-H-R-E-E.

A lot of this was going on.

And this.

And some of this. Boys.

But, that's ok honey, I love you, and this was your idea. And, it was fun. A little cold. A little wet at times. Early Saturdays. Me chasing Fulton the entire time because he thinks he's 3 too and can kick a soccer ball like a 2.5 year old I might add.  It was fun. And, I thank you. {Although at times, (you all know Alan and his competitive juice) he was reminded every Saturday that these children, especially Ridge, are 3 and to lower his expectations.} Thank you Jeremy Tuggle for keeping him realistic. Hard job.

Here are a few favorites from this year's Fall 2012 Soccer Season. Good job Ridge. I love you buddy!

Soooo cold the morning of their last game.

One of his goals at the last game. Play by play.

Proud little fella. Mama, did you see that? :) Did Fulton see?

Good game guys!

Tunnels are the best part!

Love Harris' face.

Trophy Day!

Best picture I got. So excited. I know honey, the lone broken off foot was a little confusing to me too.

Congrats T-Rex's! What a great, fun, season!
